You can find below the list of available PADI specialty courses:

  • ENRICHED AIR DIVING – NITROX SPECIALTY

Ages 12 and up: Nitrox specialty (or Enriched Air Diving) is the most popular PADI specialty in the world! It gives you access to another type of diving. The air you breathe is no longer composed of 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen, but up to 40% oxygen, therefore containing less nitrogen. Thus your dives last longer, are less exhausting, and more secure. You also reduce surface intervals between dives. By diving with Nitrox, you significantly increase the pleasure of scuba diving.

The Nitrox specialty course is mainly theoretical. In this course, you learn about diving with enriched air, its advantages and constraints. At the end, you will be trained to become an autonomous Nitrox diver, dive with up to 40% oxygen enriched Nitrox, be able to purchase or rent diving equipment with enriched air, fill your bottles up to 40% oxygen, and plan and conduct your own Nitrox dives.

We also recommend one (optional) Enriched Air open water dive with the Instructor where you will practice what you have learned during the theory course.

Prerequisite: (Junior) Open Water Diver or other recognized qualification.

Price: 200 CHF without the dive, 320 CHF including dive.

Duration: 2 hours in the classroom, between 2 and 3 hours for the dive (incl. preparation). This course can be completed within one day.
